The PTH400 press is a hand-operated press tool machine, designed especially for mechanical through-hole-plating purposes. Professional through-hole-plating by individual tools for each rivet/eyelet diameter. Optimal contacts, even without soldering.  The PTH400 Press offers high quality results with the copper rivets and eyelets being used for double sided circuits to be plated as required for vias. (Joining tracks on opposite sides of double sided circuit boards).
Another popular use of the PTH400 press tool is to use the rivets for mechanical Electronic assembly applications such fixing battery holders or contacts to rigid, semi rigid and flexible circuit boards etc. These larger rivets/eyelets are Brass Bright Electro Tin Plated.
