Here at Fortex Ltd we are proud of the fact that we still design and make some of our own products at our dedicated manufacturing facility in the UK.
It’s true to say that even today British manufacturers are still lauded for creating the highest quality products. It is a reputation this country has held for centuries and we are acutely aware that we are part of the latest generation of businesses charged with ensuring this enviable status is maintained.
Keeping all of our manufacturing processes in Britain has allowed us to maintain our high quality standards. By developing relationships with a small group of trusted suppliers and handling all of our manufacturing in-house, we have been able to maintain a fair price for our product, whilst ensuring that delivery times are quick, both for retail and bulk customers in the UK and for our network of international distributors for customers overseas.
As well as operating our own in-house design, machining, finishing and testing facilities, we even manufacture and maintain some of the machinery and tooling that we use in production.
This approach means we have total control over every stage of the manufacturing process and can guarantee the quality and consistency of our products.
It’s a standard we work hard to maintain each day in the knowledge that we are doing our bit to ensure the Made in Britain marque still has the significance it has always had.
